At Jericho Road Clothing, we put our heart and soul into producing beautiful prints, colours, styles and shapes to make our customers — young or old, size 8 or 22 — feel absolutely fabulous.
As a business, we focus on high quality natural fibres that suit the Australian climate and ensure the longevity of each piece. We want our clothes to be worn, loved and reached for time and time again — not forgotten in the back of a wardrobe.
When designing our own prints, we want each garment to evoke a moment of nostalgia — the feeling of being young, carefree and completely yourself. Our clothing is versatile and timeless, designed to be appreciated for years to come.
A core part of who we are is our commitment to the creative community around us. We love collaborating with local artists to give their work a new dimension through our clothing — and we are endlessly grateful for the talented photographers, graphic designers, warehouse legends and makers who help bring JRC to life every single day.
Our clothes are designed in Brisbane and made thoughtfully in Guangdong, China and Bali, Indonesia. Our manufacturers share our values — operating ethically, sustainably and with genuine care for the people who work for them.
We are constantly asking ourselves "how can we do this better?" — and we think that question is what keeps us honest.
THE FOUNDERS
Hi, we're Chloe and Kate — sisters, best friends and the founders of Jericho Road Clothing.
Creativity has played a huge role in our lives from a very young age. Whether it was experimenting with arts and crafts (this usually involved Mum rolling out a huge piece of butchers paper on the fence and filling spray bottles with food colouring and water) or decorating cakes with our Nan — you couldn't keep us away from making something.
Outback Queensland has a soft spot in our hearts. We draw a lot of our inspiration from the landscapes and colours of the 50,000 acre cattle property in Central West QLD where we grew up — which is what we believe gives our brand its distinct Australiana feel.
Back in February 2016 we released our very first Arizona shift dress as a pre-sale — simply to pay for our first run of clothing — and on launch night, it sold out. What started with us packing orders on our dining room table eventually progressed to a spare room operation, before we took the leap and moved into our first proper office and warehouse space in May 2018. Pink walls. Obviously.
Since then, JRC has grown — but intentionally. We've made a conscious choice to keep the business small enough to love, to live lives we're genuinely proud of, and to be present for our young families. For us, success isn't measured in size. It's measured in the joy we feel when a customer tells us they wore their JRC dress to the best day of their life, or that our brand made them feel seen.
We are so proud of what this little brand has become — and we don't take a single day of it for granted.
Our office is still very pink. Our office pup is now the magnificent Rhubarb. And we are still, every single day, having the time of our lives. 🐾💛
